Sri Mallikarjuneswarar Temple, Sri Sailam – Andhra Pradesh Temple Tours

One of the 12 ancient Jyothirlingams installed by Saint Adi Sankara who lived in the 4th century BC has been installed at Sri Sailam temple, where Lord Sri Mallikarjuneswarar has his shrine. This is considered to be a most sacred place in South India in the Hindu Culture. From Ongole, it is a 5 hour drive by Road.
Devasthanam Cottages are available for overnight stay at very reasonable rates as also good vegetarian restaurants. Customised family trips can be arranged on request.
